abstract
This research presents the feasibility of a geopolymer fully prepared using chamotte, ceramic industry residue, and fly ash from olive biomass, residue from the olive oil industry. A typical ceramic characterization was carried out from a mechanical and physical standpoint, aimed at exploring their potential as a building material in order to reuse this currently unused waste and to reduce clay extraction operations. Based on the obtained tests results, binder samples showed promising mechanical properties with compressive strengths of over 50 MPa, leading to sustainable raw materials for traditional ceramics in certain applications.
